Grass & Weeds Ordinance

Grass cutting season will soon be here!  Remember, grass and weeds cannot grow above 8 inches.  Notice will be given, if needed, and fines range from $50 to $500 per offense and number of issuances.  Also, DO NOT blow grass clippings into the road.  This causes storm sewer backups and can cause flooding.  Per Village Code 4-1-16, blowing or depositing grass on the road is a finable offense with fines ranging from $50 to $500 per offense and number of issuances.
